Welcome to Mana Lore. A web site dedicated to the teachings of mystical cultures, practices and traditions throughout the world. This not only applies to religious or spiritual traditions, but scientific and philosophical as well. All are welcome to contribute articles, artwork, or news within these fields. Contact me through E-mail, Instant messaging, or the forums after creating an account and I will flag the account as an Author for submissions.
This site is meant to be an open ended field for which mystical topics can be discussed freely.
There are many similarities and differences throughout the worlds religions. Mystical practices however, seem to share a common essence. Through discussion, study, and practice individuals gain insight, knowledge, and experience which they can share with the world. Sharing with respect and reverence is one key to understanding that essential state which mystical practices speak of. We promote tolerance, care, and compassion to our fellow human beings. We are more than the sum of our opinions and beliefs, and it is this essence that must be appreciated and understood for Humanity to grow and progress.
I have created this site as a tool by which others, and my own, spiritual journey may find a crossroads of communication and compassionate understanding.
I am currently finished with coursework and completing my thesis as a student at Florida International University within the Religious Studies Program . I am teaching meditation and mysticism online.
My thesis topic has changed from a comparative work between mystical Judaism and Hinduism to The effects of Kashmir Shaivism on Sri Shankara's Advaita Vedanta in the light of the Sri Yantra.
