Alexander Conroy studied Hinduism, Mysticism and Western Esotericism at the Religious Studies Department at Florida International University. He is completed his graduate coursework and has taught many courses on Mysticism and World Religions. His Thesis was on the concept of Mother Worship in Sankara's Vedanta, a translation of the Shri Rajarajesvari Stotra in the light of Sankara's Saundarya Lahari. He is a Fellow and Webmaster of the Program in the Study of Spirituality, founded and maintained by Dr. Nathan Katz whom also happens to be his thesis advisor. He is also affiliated with Dr. Chaman Lal Raina and maintains his website. Dr. Raina has published many books on the topic of Kashmir Shaivism and continues to write articles for websites such as Shehjar. He is also the president of a small Center for the Study of Sanskrit in Miami, FL.
